North Jetty

I was driving home when I noticed the sky was ready to do spectacular things so I rushed in the house, grabbed my camera and was off to the north jetty. Everywhere I looked I saw something totally different - to the right, a cotton candy sky with pink reflections in the water. Over the jetty it was vibrant blue skies with red, gray and white clouds depending on what second it was. In the cove it was violet. So here is a little sampling of the pictures I took as I froze my tail off, whipping around in circles so I didn't miss anything!

Another Ada Weekend

My husband says I post too many pictures of out our front door at Ada so he chose different pictures for blipfoto. This leaves me with too many pictures that I like and nothing to do with them - hence, today's blog. The first (I hope) pictures are of the pastures full of rainwater "lakes" on the way out to Ada. Then, there is a spot where you go up a hill until you see nothing in front of you (This always scares our passengers) After the very sharp turn, this is the very first view of our part of the lake. Once I got to the house, I had to take some picures of the reflections in the lake and the sun setting behind the trestle. Today, I went for a walk. I had to take a picture of Grandma's "vincas" the little blue flowers that she loved, and all of the other signs that Spring is just around the corner!
