100 Miles North on a Sunday

Today we had to drive to Neskoen to fix a Corian sink that a lady had dropped a flaming iron skillet into. Why did we have to do that? Well, because 9 years ago we did the cabinets, countertops and sink for her and we service what we sell!
Anyway, these are pictures of a day that started out foggy when we crossed over the bridge in Yachats, but got sunnier and sunnier as the day progressed. We drove through Depoe Bay where Jack Nicholson took his fellow inmates on a mad ride from that very calm bay, under that bridge and out to that crashing ocean in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" years ago. Next door to the job we went to, these huge wooden Birds were perched on giant tree stumps. On the way home we passed what must have been a kite event. We stopped to snap a few pictures. Can you see the bubbles floating in the air, too? One picture of a bird, a rock and an ocean and other snaps including a couple of Orygon Home Boy. A long but nice day!
